This conceptual design envisions a South Indian drive-in restaurant that celebrates the region’s rich culinary heritage through a contemporary fusion of traditional Indian aesthetics. The interior design draws inspiration from historic architectural elements, incorporating intricately crafted jaali screens as partitions to evoke a sense of cultural nostalgia while ensuring functional spatial division. Handcrafted cement walls lend a raw, tactile quality that reflects the authenticity of Indian craftsmanship. The space is thoughtfully curated to not only enhance the dining experience but also to visually narrate the story of South India’s vibrant spices and culinary traditions through a modern yet rooted design language.
