THE HIVE

Hive is a thoughtfully designed post-COVID retreat that responds to the evolving needs of modern living—offering a multi-functional space that blends resort living, staycation experiences, and event hosting. Envisioned as a sanctuary for social gatherings such as sangeets, private parties, and intimate get-togethers, the project reimagines recreation within a secure, expansive single-plot layout.

At the heart of the design is a deep respect for the site's natural landscape, particularly its mature mango trees, which have been carefully preserved and integrated into the master plan. The most captivating feature is the swimming pool, artfully nestled among these existing trees. A timber deck wraps around the trunks, allowing them to emerge through the surface as if springing naturally from a forested waterbody—evoking the charm of a hidden spring and reinforcing the dialogue between built form and nature.

The interiors embrace a simple yet refined aesthetic, prioritizing comfort and connection to the outdoors. Skylight glass openings invite an abundance of natural light, creating bright, airy spaces that feel both grounded and luxurious.

Hive offers a retreat-like experience rooted in nature, where design and landscape coalesce to form an environment that is at once restful, functional, and visually striking.
